Hola! My name is Iva and I live on a sailboat. I’m happiest when I feel the sand between my toes, a sea spray in my hair and the sun on my face, but I’ll never pass up the chance to put on a pretty dress and go for a dance. I don’t always know where I’m going but luckily, I enjoy getting lost on the way.

I’m passionate about discovering life – empowering and encouraging women to take the chance to do the things they dream of, big and small, in order to live the life they want to live.

I am from Argentina, though I have two Russian names, an Italian passport and no permanent address. My youth was spent living in South East Asia and I shall forever be thankful to have grown up mesmerized by its cultural kaleidoscope. My love for travel was instilled in me at a young age and I have since been wandering. I am the eldest of three sisters, and with so many women in my household I have been able to appreciate the unbridled force of the female spirit.

As a first time sailor, leaving the corporate universe and the future that I had so carefully planned for myself was a scary leap of faith. My experiences in the advertising world taught me the importance of confidence, the value of teamwork and how to function at ungodly hours (something that comes in handy on night watches!). For four years now I have been living on a 35ft sailboat with my (pirate) treasured Captain. Life on the water never fails to surprise me and I continue to learn beautiful and difficult lessons along the way.
